The eight-station corn packaging machine with vacuum extraction is designed specifically for automated packaging of corn (typically vacuum-packed cooked corn, fresh corn, or corn cobs). It integrates functions such as automatic feeding, bagging, vacuum extraction, sealing, and discharge.

1. Main Components

Automatic loading system: Typically an elevator or conveyor belt, it feeds the corn to be packaged into the machine in an orderly manner.

Turntable and mold: A turntable with eight stations, each with a customized mold for clamping and securing the corn.

Bag opening and feeding mechanism: A suction cup or robotic arm opens the bag, and the mold precisely places the corn into the bag.

Vacuum extraction and sealing: This is the core station. A vacuum pump removes all air from the bag, and then immediately heat-seals it to ensure a tight and secure seal.

Control system: Typically employs a PLC (programmable logic controller) and a touchscreen human-machine interface, allowing for easy parameter setting (such as vacuum level, sealing temperature, and time) and monitoring of operating status.

Finished Product Output Conveyor: Transports the packaged corn to the container for collection.

2. Typical Eight-Station Workflow (One Cycle)

Take one station as an example. As the turntable rotates one full revolution, it undergoes the following eight steps:

Station 1: Loading: A robot or a human places the corn into the mold at this station and clamps it securely.

Station 2: Bag Forming: The packaging film is pulled down and formed into a bag shape by the bag-making machine.

Station 3: Bag Opening: The vacuum cups open the bag, preparing it for feeding.

Station 4: Feeding: The mold is flipped or moved to precisely place the corn into the opened bag.

Station 5: Vacuuming: The vacuum hood descends, securely clamping the bag opening. The vacuum pump is activated to completely remove the air from the bag.

Station 6: Heat Sealing: After vacuuming or filling with an inert gas (such as nitrogen, if available), heat-sealing strips heat and pressurize the bag opening to seal it.

Station 7: Cooling: The seal is briefly cooled to ensure seal strength.

Station 8: Unloading/Cutting: The mold is released, and the packaged corn falls onto the conveyor belt. Simultaneously, the packaging film is cut, completing the package.

The turntable rotates 45 degrees, and the station enters the next cycle and begins a new loading cycle. Because eight stations operate simultaneously, each cycle can produce a finished product, achieving extremely high efficiency.
